Complete Set-Up

This is not a basic set-up. The entire instrument, including all its parts and functions, are evaluated and then tuned to spec or to customer preference. A full range of adjustments and tests are included to maximize playability finishing with a full cleaning and polishing.​

Nut & Saddle Replacement

Proper adjustment of the nut and saddle are critical for tuning stability and tone. A well-shaped and slotted nut can make a huge difference in the setup and overall playability of a guitar. Replace when worn or broken.​

Bridge Repair

Over time, an acoustic guitar bridge may lose adhesion and become separated from the body due to exposure to heat, glue failure, and other factors. This may also lead to cracks and other problems.​

Fretwork

As frets wear down, they create low spots which result in dreaded “fret buzz”. While some degree of buzz is unavoidable due to guitar construction, specs, and setup preference, there comes a point when they will need to be leveled or replaced. We offer full or partial fret work complete with filing, crowning, and polishing.​

Electronics

We have experience wiring even the most complicated electronic configurations and can do everything in between. This includes basic or multiple pickup installations, component replacement/upgrades, and custom wiring modifications to expand the tonal options of your instrument.

Tremolo Overhaul

Due to the high volume of moving parts involved in floating tremolo systems, the entire unit should be rebuilt and lubricated periodically. The tremolo unit is carefully removed, inspected, cleaned, and lubricated for optimum performance and tuning stability even during sustained use. Modification

We can perform a wide range of upgrades and modifications to your guitar to suite your needs. From basic to elaborate, there are an endless amount of ways to change the look of your guitar or improve its playability. Talk to us if you have something specific in mind.​

Restoration

We can restore many worn instruments to near-factory condition. Many of our customers report their instruments returning to them looking "new again" and that is something we strive to achieve each time. Some guitars are past this point and need to be restored using original or aftermarket parts. In that case, we will source and install them for you.

Consignment

We offer services to help you date, identify, and professionally list your instrument for sale. Full history reports are done upon request including high-definition photos of markings in hard to reach areas like the neck joint and underneath the pickups.
